This rapid growth has been aided by the retail shopping amenities, which became substantial with the addition of the Outlets of Albertville. Waverly is home to two lakes – recreational Big Waverly Lake and the scenic environmental Carrigan Lake. Big Waverly Lake has two public boat launching docks and a lake front park that includes picnic tables, a pavilion, grills, playground equipment, a sandy beach, and tennis courts.
