City of Otsego - Parks
This Zoom Tour will take you throughout the beautiful parks in Otsego.
The city also has over 42 miles of trails and 14 parks. Some popular spots at Prairie Park include the pickleball courts and the splashpad! Otsego is home to the Crow and Mississippi Rivers which offer a combined 10 miles of river frontage. These two rivers make the city unique. One of the notable parks on the Mississippi is Norin Landing Park (10599 Kadler Ave). It is situated in the northern part of the city right on the banks of the Mississippi. Constructed in 2019, it is one of the newer parks in the area. The park is home to a boat landing, fishing pier, shelter, and trails. If you’re looking for a day on the water, the boat launch provides easy access to get in and out of the river and the fishing pier makes it easier to fish without of the need of a boat.

Constructed in 2006, this eight-acre park contains the following: Playground, trails, shelter, tennis courts, half court basketball.

Carrick's Landing runs along the Mississippi River directly to the east of Guardian Angel's. The park has exactly a one mile trail with about 1/2 mile of the trail that runs along the Mississippi River. The park is open year around with the trail being plowed during the winter months.

Frankfort Park is located off County Road 36 and Randolph Avenue. Constructed in 2010, this park contains the following: play equipment, walking paths, park shelter, ball field, basketball court, and tennis court.

Kittredge Crossing Park is located at the intersection of Kittredge Parkway and 71st Street. Constructed in 2004, this five-acre park contains the following: Play Equipment, Walking Paths, Shelter, Tennis Court, Horseshoes, Basketball, and Picnic Grills

Lefebvre Creek Park is located in the heart of the Boulder Creek Development. Constructed in 2018, this 12 acre park contains the following: Playground, Shelter, Edible Garden, Pollinator Garden, Basketball Court, and BBQ Grill
Lily Pond Park is located at the intersection of Kadler Avenue and 101st Street NE. Constructed in 2004; this five-acre park contains the following: Playground, Trail Shelter, BBQ Grills, Full Size Basketball Court, and Tennis Court

Norin Landing Park is located on the northern most tip of Kadler Ave. NE. Constructed in 2019, this 3 acre park contains the following: Boat Landing, Fishing Pier, Shelter, and Trails

Located on 72nd Street behind KwikTrip in the Wildflower Development. Northwood Park was constructed in 2016 and features the following: Playground equipment, Shelter, Baseball field, Soccer field, Trails, and Community garden

Prairie Park is located behind Otsego Prairie Center at 8899 Nashua Avenue NE, (763) 235-3148 and was improved in 2003. This park contains the following: Splash Pad (Sunrise to Sunset), Playground, Trails, Shelter (reservable facility), BBQ Grills, Basketball Courts, Ball Fields, Skate Park, Dog Park, and Archery Range

School Knoll Park is located on 3.5 acres just north of Otsego Elementary School and was constructed in 2003. This park contains the following: Playground, Shelters, BBQ Grills, 2-Basketball Courts, and 2- Tennis Courts Trails

Wilson Preserve Park is located at the corner of 85th Street and Odean Ave, NE. This 13-acre park is host to the following amenities: Nature Viewing, Natural Trials, and Prairie Grass

Zimmer Farm Park is located at Mason Avenue and 64th Street. This five-acre park contains the following: Playground, Trails, Shelter, BBQ Grills, Basketball Court, and Tennis Court

Friedrich Park is the newest addition to the City of Otsego parks system. This 2.1-acre park is located at 7675 O’ Brian Ave. Currently the park is heavily wooded and the goal is to preserve as many trees as possible while offering park amenities. The focus of this park is traditional play features with nature play elements incorporated. Traditional elements will be a 2-5 playground and 5-12 playground. New nature play elements will also be offered in the play container. These elements include sand play, balancing ropes, logs, log steppers, and building pieces. This is the first nature play area in the City of Otsego parks system.
Friedrich will also offer a half-sized basketball court with a new park feature called a multi goal. The multi goal offers a basketball hoop, soccer goal, and wide panel back board for field hockey or hand ball. Friedrich will also have shaded seating, picnic benches, bike racks, interpretive signage, solar lighting, an edible garden, and a natural surface trail with a small paved walking loop. Another new feature to the City of Otsego parks system is the Bocce Ball lane, offering residents the ability to play leisurely or competitively!
