Fraser Steel is located in Albertville, Minnesota – 20 miles northwest of Minneapolis on I-94 and minutes from major cross-country transportation routes. This strategic location is a big advantage to customers with demanding delivery and distribution requirements.
Highly Efficient Production & Logistics
Our 80,000 square foot design and fabrication facility has over 30 major work centers. In a normal year we produce more than 2,000 unique items. Some 200,000 parts per day roll off these production centers into Fraser Steel’s “grocery store” Logistics staging area.
Bullish Approach to Capital Investments
At Fraser Steel we pride ourselves on anticipating new technology and being the first in the industry to get it on the production floor. This bullish approach to capital investments reflects our business mantra: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
As part of our commitment to staying ahead of the industry, Fraser has invested more than $10 million in capital equipment and technology over the last five years. Most recently, we acquired our seventh tube cutting laser. This gives us the largest fleet of tube cutting lasers of any contract manufacturer in North America, and better equips us to handle short notice production runs.
