The following are new/current commercial/industrial developments happening in the City of St. Michael.

St. Michael Eye Care Center is building a new 5,200 square foot clinic in Town Center. Construction is anticipated to be completed in 2024. The clinic is relocating from the St. Michael Mall. 

Cub Wine and Spirits started construction of a 10,300 square foot store in September, 2023. It is located just northwest of Cub Foods along Town Center Drive. 

Chipotle & Starbucks plans have been approved in Town Center, with construction currently underway, and anticipating opening in summer 2024.  

Naber Business Park consists of 32 acres at the corner of Highway 241 and Naber Ave NE. The St. Michael Economic Development Authority (EDA) purchased the property and it is being subdivided into several parcels for industrial development. There is one remaining lot located in the northeast corner. The EDA is developing this area to increase jobs and tax base. 

Located at the southeast corner of Main Street S and St. Michael Parkway, a former City storage building is being remodeled into a restaurant with an outdoor patio called Home Grown. Phase two of the site includes a two-story retail/office building to be constructed at a later date. 

Martinez Produce and Seafood (MP Seafood) is under construction near the southeast corner of Highway 241 and 40th Street NE. The distribution/warehouse building will be just over 20,000 square feet but will not offer retail sales to the public. 

The Hideout will consist of a 10-building luxury garage complex, northwest of Ogren Ave NE and 47th St NE, near Boyer Truck. The project will be constructed in several phases. 

Rachel Contracting is constructing a new maintenance facility behind their existing office building off Highway 241 and Napier Ave NE. 

Fox Hollow Golf Club is constructing a 1,300 square foot addition to the southwest side of the existing clubhouse and a 2,300 square foot indoor golf training facility building, to accommodate golf entertainment year-round. 

37,200 square feet of climate controlled storage and 24,971 square feet of cold storage.  

Affordable Storage is currently constructing 22 mini-storage buildings at the southwest corner of County Highway 19 and 30th Street NE. They will be constructed over several phases. 

Creekside Center (Previously Colonial Mall) is currently undergoing renovations.
