As Eastvale’s population grows, with up to 2,500 new homes currently being built, the city is expanding its municipal buildings to better meet residents’ needs. The City broke ground in August of 2025 on a new Civic Center that will feature:

  • A new City Hall with offices for permitting and other city services alongside public gathering spaces and more;

  • The city’s first police station, which will allow the sheriff’s deputies who serve Eastvale to operate directly within the city;

  • A world-class library and innovation center designed to inspire lifelong learning and creativity; and

  • Parks, an amphitheater, and green spaces for concerts and other events to create opportunities for residents to gather together.

When completed in early 2028, the civic center will serve as the heart of the city for generations to come. Learn more about what the future of municipal services looks like in Eastvale.

When Walmart opened the doors of its new Eastvale Supercenter in January of 2026, it marked a significant milestone in the city’s growth and commitment to economic development. The 170,995-square-foot store includes a 16-pump fuel station; full-service deli, meat, and bakery departments; and a pharmacy alongside fresh produce including a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables. The store, the first California Walmart location in many years built from the ground up, was designed under Walmart’s Store of the Future concept and incorporates innovative technology meant to enhance convenience and customer service. In addition, the store brings more than 300 new jobs to the community.

Eastvale's first hotel is more than a place for visitors to stay. Opened in 2025, the 120-room Staybridge Suites features a banquet hall and the only rooftop restaurant in western Riverside County. It also overlooks the nearby SIlverlakes Sports Complex, which draws an estimated 1.7 million visitors each year.

The Staybridge project earned a 2025 award for Collaborations in Real Estate & Finance from the California Association for Local Economic Development. Learn more about our commitment to development that addresses residents’ needs.

Eastvale is ranked the 26th safest city in California, and dedicated public safety employees are a large part of the reason. Eastvale contracts with the California Department of Forestry and Fire protection for fire service and collaborates closely with the organization to ensure the highest quality fire prevention and emergency response efforts. Fire Station 27 is one of two stations in the city. It features a "Never Forget" memorial sculpture, installed on the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks in memory of the lives lost that day. The monument is a metal depiction of the twin towers atop a pentagon base with the words “Never Forget” and “9-11-2001” written across the sides. The sculpture stands 12 feet tall and is illuminated at night with multicolored lights. The city hosts a well-attended 9/11 ceremony every year at the station.

Visible from the I-15 freeway, Eastvale's Amazon fulfillment center spans the entire length of the Goodman Commerce Center. The 1 million-square-foot facility employs more than 5,000 people and has easy access to the freeway.

Fortune Magazine recognized Eastvale in 2023 as the seventh best place in the United States to raise a family, and amenities like Eastvale Community Park are a big part of the reason. One of the city's 18 parks and more than 250 acres of open space overseen by the Jurupa Community Services District Parks and Recreation Department, Eastvale Community Park is a vital community hub, with baseball and soccer fields, a skate park, and walking and biking trails. The 46-acre park is home to many of the city’s most popular events, including a Fourth of July picnic that draws as many as 15,000 visitors over three days.

Arnaz, best known for his role in the television classic I Love Lucy, was good friends with the Altfillisch family in Eastvale and frequently visited their ranch. The Altfillisch family relocated the house, built in 1960, following Arnaz’s death.
