Description: Apatisiwin is a Swampy Cree word meaning “employment, training, and jobs”. Empowering Indigenous people through education, experience, and skills for meaningful employment, offering 19 employment and training services and supports via co-developed action plans with Employment or Youth Employment Counsellors. These services include trauma-informed assessments, workshops, partnerships with local employers, job development, community-based projects, and enhanced supports for in-school youth, all delivered through culturally relevant approaches.
