The Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia participates in land development companies for the generation of quality business areas for companies, actions that are currently being expanded:

  • Centro Integrado de Transportes de Murcia, CITMUSA.
  • Polígono Industrial de Lorca.
  • Parque Empresarial de Alhama.
  • Parque Tecnológico de Fuente Álamo.

The Parque Tecnológico de Fuente Álamo is the only regional technology park specialized in R&D&I companies and scientific and technological know-how transfer.

It is oriented to activities in several areas such as biotechnology, microtechnology, renewable energy, etc.

It houses the Technological Transfer Centre of the University of Murcia and the Technological Development Centre of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, as well as numerous leading companies in R&D&I.


The Parque Industrial de Alhama, of public promotion (INFO and Alhama City Council), it is strategically located at the intersection of the A7 Mediterranean motorway with the RM2 Alhama-Campo de Cartagena motorway, 15 minutes driving from Murcia International Airport and 25 minutes driving from the port of Cartagena.

It is equipped with high-performance infrastructures for electricity supply, double conduction of water supply, fiber optics and gas supply.


The Polígono Industrial de Lorca is a public promotion action through the company SAPRELORCA where SEPES, the Lorca City Council and the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia participate.

It is located along the A-7 Mediterranean motorway and has 182 hectares that were urbanized during the more than 20 years of life of this estate. It is the largest industrial park on the Guadalentín axis.


The Centro Integrado de Transportes de Murcia, CITMUSA, is the only public Regional Business Park specialized in logistics. It has an area of about 70 ha and is very well connected with the MU-30 motorway in the main industrial area of the Region.

This logistics area is located in the municipality of Murcia, about 15 km from the new Murcia International Airport, 6 km from the Nonduermas intermodal terminal and 50 km from the Port of Cartagena.


The Polígono Industrial Cabezo Beaza is a state promotion (SEPES) and occupies an area of more than 200 hectares. It is located on the outskirts of the city of Cartagena and has direct access from the A-30 motorway. The Port of Cartagena is 4 km distance from there and the International Airport of the Region of Murcia 29 km.

The Polígono Industrial Oeste is a state promotion (SEPES), is the main industrial area of the Region of Murcia. It occupies an area of 300 hectares between the municipalities of Murcia and Alcantarilla.

It is located 7 kilometres from the city of Murcia and next to the urban area of Alcantarilla. It has several direct road connections with the MU-30 motorway (Madrid-Cartagena).


The Polígono Industrial La Estrella is a state promotion (SEPES) and occupies an area of 40 hectares in the municipality of Molina e Segura. This industrial estate has a strategic location, thanks to its link with the Madrid A-30 motorway, which connects it, in turn, with the metropolitan area of Murcia.

This industrial area has basic supply, sanitation, electricity and telecommunications services. Other unique services also appear, such as customs warehousing, access control, video surveillance and gas station.


The Parque Industrial Camachos Sur is an industrial estate promoted by a state company, SEPES, that has an area of 261 hectares (included in a bigger area of 621 hectares of industrial land) and located on north-east of Cartagena.

It is situated at the confluence of two highways, the AP7 and the CT-32, so it has excellent conection with both the Port of Cartagena and the Mediterranean axis. The park is 54 km from the city of Murcia, 32 km from the new Murcia International Airport, 25 km from San Javier airport and 7 km from the Port of Cartagena.

The park has all the necessary infrastructures for the implementation of an industrial project, as well as wide roads of first quality.

Parque Industrial Camachos Sur


The Polígono Industrial de Puerto Lumbreras is a public promotion action developed by a municipal company of Puerto Lumbreras that urbanised an area of 22 hectares.

It has direct access from the A-7 Mediterranean motorway, as well as access to the west with the urban area of Puerto Lumbreras.

It is the first park at the entrance from Andalusia to the Region of Murcia and is located 93 km from the Port of Cartagena, 85 km from Murcia and 94 km from the International Airport of the Region of Murcia.
