With 114 acres available, the Great Lakes Tech Park site has undergone advanced site preparation. The $7.5 million investment in site preparation included the installation of new water, sanitary and storm sewer systems, and new Class A, all-season roads, as well as grading and landscaping.

Because of the advanced site preparation, accelerated permitting is available, and the results of wetland, archaeological, environmental and engineering assessments support the site as a prime location for immediate construction. Saginaw Future Inc., Saginaw County’s economic development organization, oversees the Park’s development.

Fullerton Tool company is a third-generation, family-owned business that specializes in the design and production of solid carbide cutting tools for a wide variety of industries. Founded in 1942, the company manufactures high-quality end mills, drills, reamers, burrs, saws, keyseat cutters and PCD tooling.

Saginaw Control and Engineering (SCE) announced another major expansion at its Saginaw West Facility in the Great Lakes Tech Park. The 110,000 sq. ft. facility is required due to increased demand across all of the company’s markets. The project is expected to result in the creation of 10 new jobs and 26 jobs retained. SCE continues to be a leader in the electrical enclosure industry. This $10.5 million expansion in Thomas Township will include some of the latest state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the highest quality electrical enclosures along with quick deliveries, competitive prices, and the products continue to be made 100% in the USA. SCE headquarters is located at Gratiot (M-46) and Midland Rd. in Saginaw Charter Township.

Saginaw Valley State University is a public university in University Center, Michigan in Saginaw County. It was founded in 1963 as Saginaw Valley College.
